[ARPG] Bagbean Event - Bertie's Every Flavour Bean

It was not quite dark, 
but the group couldn't wait.
They pulled on their costumes
so they wouldn't be late.

Out into the fall evening,
into the crisp air,
they knocked on all doors
to get their fair share

Of the treats and the goodies
Hallow's Eve doth bestow
to the wandering beasties
so away they will go.

By and by on their path
in the thick, spooky woods,
they happened upon a small cottage
and stood

Near the doorsteps
and called to the Bean there inside,
"Trick or Treat!"
and then the door opened wide.

There stood before them
a withering sight.
Their friend, Bert, usually docile
wore a grin full of fright.

He laughed, more a shriek,
and his grimace did gleam.
"I have a treat for you, yes,
stay right there and you'll see."

A bit nervous, the friends obeyed,
and Bert saw their concern.
"Don't be worried, my dears,
for I have tested it first!

"On myself, don't you see?
And I'm fit as a fiddle,"
Then he laughed, as if
the whole thing were a riddle.

Then a shock rippled through them
as the Bean disappeared.
They held their bags open and 
glanced between them in fear.

Then he came, dashing forth
to deposit his gift
into their small bags,
so neatly, so swift.

"It's a new kind of bean
I've discovered," he cried
as he sped to each bag with
the speed of a fly.

"One for you, one for you,
here you go, dear, take two!"
And the friends really weren't 
quite sure what to do.

"The Hollowbean," Bert insisted,
"is the newest Bean treasure...
But beware; you might find
yourself changed beyond measure!"

WHEW, so happy I was able to complete this in time! I'm not 100% happy with how it ended up, but considering the time we were given, I'm satisfied! I think writing the poem was the most fun part of it all. XD
